Personal data & GDPR

SecureTransfer is designed from the ground up to collect as little data as possible. Specifically:

• No user account is required to use the service.
• No personal data (name, email, IP address, etc.) is collected or stored in any database.
• Files are encrypted client-side in your browser before reaching our server. The server never has access to the plaintext content of your files.
• All uploaded files are automatically and permanently deleted after their expiry date (between 1 and 7 days).
• No advertising, no tracking, no behavioural profiling of any kind.
• No data is sold or shared with any third party.

Cookies & local storage

This site does not use any advertising cookies, tracking cookies, or third-party cookies of any kind.

The site uses two technical localStorage entries (these are stored locally in your browser, not sent to any server):

• st-lang - stores your language preference (EN or FR). Kept until you clear your browser data.
• st-theme - stores your theme preference (light, dark, or auto). Kept until you clear your browser data.

These are necessary for the site to function correctly (language and display preferences). No consent banner is required under CNIL guidelines for necessary technical storage with no tracking purpose.

The service is provided "as is", without any guarantee of availability or continuity. The publisher cannot be held liable for any service interruption.

The user is solely responsible for the content they upload. The upload of illegal content (in particular content that infringes intellectual property rights, or content that is illicit under French law) is strictly prohibited.
